The Descent G1 supports multiple dive modes, ranging from technical to free diving, fully customisable by adding screens for each dive mode that features the fields you want to see. The integrated GPS helps marking surface entry and exit points while the internal storage can support up to 200 dives, easily shared and reviewed via the Garmin Dive app. It features an integrated built-in 3-axis compass, making underwater navigation easy. The G1 has fantastic battery life: up to 25 hours in dive mode, 21 days in smartwatch mode, and 26 hours in GPS mode. This rugged computer is engineered for endurance. It's water-rated to 100 meters of depth, features a sapphire lens, and is rated to MIL-STD-810.
It is not only a dive computer but also a fully-featured smartwatch with 30 built-in sports apps, ranging from running, biking, swimming, skiing, and many more.
